EPA Award 2009 for the Wöhr project in Budapest
The Automatic Parking System Wöhr
Parksafe 580, located in Budapest,
Hungary, was awarded within the scope of
the EPA Award 2009 on the 14th Congress
of the European Parking Association, which
took place from 23.-25. September 2009 in
Vienna.
The Parking System is integrated in a
historical and listed building, which dates
back to the beginning of the 20th century
and refers to the name of its printing plant
Franklin. On a limited ground floor of only
12 x 25 m, a total of 200 parking spaces is
offered for permanent and public users.
The Automatic Parking System is equipped
with
4 comfortable transfer stations and turning
devices.
The "European Parking Association" is an
European umbrella organization with
members of 18 nations, which manages
2.7 million parking spaces. In a 2 years
turn, the organization is rewarding the
EUROPEAN PARKING AWARD for exceptional
parking garages and parking solutions.
